We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Tax to lead our tax strategy and compliance efforts. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage tax audits and inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact with tax authorities.
  • Provide guidance on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, including acquisition integration and revenue recognition.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, proactively advising senior management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tax planning opportunities and optimize tax positions.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax software and ERPs such as SAP or NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly.
  • Experience in acquisition integration and ASC-740 revenue recognition.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Master's degree in Taxation or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, EA) is preferred.
  • Experience in international tax matters and compliance.
  • Familiarity with tax planning strategies and risk management.
