Onsite Full Time Finance

This is a direct hire with our client that is a is a nationally recognized public accounting and business advisory firm serving clients across a variety of industries.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to support client business objectives.
  • Identify tax saving opportunities and recommend practical solutions.

Tax Compliance & Review

  • Manage tax engagements from planning through final delivery
  • Review federal, state, and local tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Review work prepared by associates and senior associates while providing coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct tax research and prepare technical memorandums as needed.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate impacts to clients and internal teams.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of approximately one to two tax professionals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support staff development initiatives.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and career development planning.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Practice Management

  • Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain high quality standards and adherence to firm procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and best practices within the tax department.
  • Assist with business development and growth initiatives as appropriate

Qualifications

  • RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or relatedfield.
  • CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
  • Five or more years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience reviewing business and individual tax returns.Strong knowledge of federal and multi state tax regulations.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills'
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
