What You'll Do
- Manage tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
- Review complex federal and state tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships.
- Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Mentor, train, and develop tax staff and seniors while reviewing their work.
- Manage multiple deadlines and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with tax notices, audits, and other client tax matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA license required.
- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Prior experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
- Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
