What You'll Do

  • Manage tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Review complex federal and state tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships.
  • Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Mentor, train, and develop tax staff and seniors while reviewing their work.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with tax notices, audits, and other client tax matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the firm's continued growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA license required.
  • 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
  • Prior experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
  • Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
