Manager PositionWolf is seeking a talented and experienced Manager to join our growing and well-established national firm. In this key role, you will deliver top-tier international tax compliance and consulting services, with a primary focus on our Private Client group. You will leverage your technical expertise to guide clients through complex international tax matters, while also mentoring and developing team members in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Primary focus on our Private Client Group for High Net Worth individualsThis is a primarily remote roleResponsibilitiesInternational Tax Compliance: Review and complete the preparation of foreign information returns, including Forms 1116, 1118, 5471, 5472, 8621, 8858, 8865, 8938, and 8992Experience with Forms 3520 and 3520-A – Annual Return of a Foreign Trust with a US OwnerFamiliarity with Form 1040-NRsPrepare and review U.S. withholding tax forms, including Forms 1042, 1042-S, 1042-T, 8804, and 8805Manage U.S.

inbound and outbound international cross-border tax matters, including GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and Foreign Tax Credit calculations and planning, with a focus on planning related to Ultra High Net Worth IndividualsPerform E&P and PTEP calculations for CFC distribution tracking and complianceExecute Section 962 elections for individual shareholders of CFCs, including compliance, planning, and strategic tax optimizationDemonstrate expertise in preparing and filing amended and delinquent U.S. tax returns, including international information returns; advise clients on IRS voluntary disclosure programs and streamlined filing compliance procedures to address past noncompliance and mitigate penalty risksLeadership and Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and train team members to enhance technical expertise and develop their professional growthFoster a collaborative team environment while ensuring the delivery of high-quality workClient Advisory and Consulting: Identify, research, and advise clients on international tax issues and planning opportunities for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and S corporationsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on international tax mattersProvide client support during audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authoritiesStrategic Contributions: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive industry insights and tailored solutionsParticipate in tax special projects and other consulting engagements to drive client successQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting; CPA, JD, or EA requiredMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including prior experience supervising teamsProven expertise in international tax compliance and consultingStrong technical knowledge of tax preparation and review, tax compliance, and tax researchFamiliarity with tax software and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for developing othersExceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategicallyA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients at all levelsAdditional InformationWolf & Company, P.C. is committed to striving to be an employer of choice that embraces inclusion & diversity. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation or sales commission plans.
