Responsibilities

  • Manage tax engagements for businesses and individuals.
  • Review complex tax returns, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and pass-through entities.
  • Provide proactive tax planning and client advisory support.
  • Advise clients on business decisions, entity structure, transactions, and tax implications.
  • Support state and local tax matters, including multi-state tax considerations.
  • Build year-round client relationships through monthly and quarterly advisory conversations.
  • Identify planning opportunities, process improvements, and key business insights.
  • Manage engagement workflow, deadlines, budgets, and client communication.
  • Mentor, develop, and review the work of tax staff and seniors.
  • Collaborate with firm leaders to deliver high-value client service.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • CPA or EA license.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience reviewing business tax returns and complex tax engagements.
  • Experience managing client relationships, engagements, workflow, deadlines, budgets, and communication.
  • Proven leadership, delegation, and process improvement skills.
  • Strong client communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and advisory skills.
  • Excellent professional English skills; this is a client-facing role that requires phone, video, and written communication.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
