Tax Manager - Glenview, IL

Our client is looking for a Tax Manager to join their growing tax practice in Glenview, IL. What you'll Do:

• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
• Manage the tax provision and tax compliance process
• Identify and implement process improvements in tax procedures
• Build new and existing client relationships and develop deep knowledge of client businesses
• Manage, train, and review tax staff, while mentoring tax associates
• Take on broader responsibilities supporting overall firm management

What you'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Accounting or Taxation preferred)
• 5+ years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns; supervisory experience preferred
• CPA certification required
• Strong technical knowledge of tax law, including federal, state, and local reporting requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax research/compliance software (e.g., CCH, Bloomberg, BNA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills, with an analytical, detail-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
