Position Overview: The Tax Manager (Generalist) will oversee complex tax compliance and consulting engagements, guide staff, deliver exceptional client service, and contribute to the continued growth of the tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Review complex tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Delegate and oversee tax preparation and research tasks.
- Prepare complex business income tax returns.
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and financial projections.
- Manage client relationships and service delivery.
- Mentor and develop tax staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's in taxation preferred.
- Active CPA license required.
- 4-7 years of public accounting experience.
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax workflow software preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and strong professional ambition.
