Our firm is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Wealth Management Tax Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in managing the tax planning, preparation, and review process for our high net worth clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wealth management, tax planning, and compliance for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within the company, with a focus on providing high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tax planning and preparation process for high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex tax issues, such as 1031 exchanges, real estate tax, and S Corp tax matters.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations and apply this knowledge to client situations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive financial planning services to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and responding to client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management tax planning and preparation, with a focus on high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
  • Experience with 1031 exchanges, real estate tax, and S Corp tax matters is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and other financial software programs.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality service to clients and maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics.
