Selby Jennings is working with a privately held investment firm seeking a Tax Manager to join a lean, high-impact team focused on strategic advisory and compliance across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating complex structures, working closely with senior leadership, and contributing to both operational and planning initiatives. The position offers exposure to a wide range of activities and the opportunity to influence internal processes and external reporting.
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise on structuring and reporting for investment vehicles and affiliated entities across multiple regions
- Partner with internal teams to gather and validate financial data for external filings
- Prepare and review documentation for recurring and event-driven reporting cycles
- Oversee reporting obligations related to income and withholding across various instruments
- Monitor internal positions and support external review processes
- Lead initiatives to improve documentation, workflows, and system capabilities
- Maintain active communication with external advisors to stay ahead of regulatory developments
Qualifications
- You bring 4-6 years of experience in tax or financial advisory, ideally with exposure to complex entity structures
- You hold a degree in a relevant field and have a strong academic foundation; professional certification is a plus
- You're comfortable working across teams and communicating with senior stakeholders
- You have a strong grasp of reporting frameworks and compliance standards
- You're proactive, analytical, and thrive in environments that value precision and collaboration
