Projects may include calculation and preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension, and projectionsReview and prepare corporate income tax provision calculationsReview and conduct high level tax research of complex or emerging tax issues and prepare memorandums to support conclusions.Stay up to date with changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills at the federal and state levelAdvise clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including planning, research, compliance, allocations and general transactional activitiesManage engagements review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client, and workflow of multiple clients and related deliverables to minimize risk and surprises, maximize engagement economics including budgets and billing, meet internal and external deadlinesManage people teams, identify assignment resource requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are assigned to specific assignment rolesAnalyze billing and assist with accounts receivable collections from clientsProvide support, guidance and on the job training to technically develop less experienced individualsSupervise and delegate work to staff and seniors, proactively manage pipeline of work and resourcesProvide quality client service which includes responsiveness, client ownership, timeliness of projects, and good communicationDevelop tax technical and software skills through instructor-lead courses, self-guided learnings, workflow updates, and on the job trainingProvide constructive feedback and performance reviewsAssist with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clientsCoach and mentor staff and seniors on client engagements and career pathRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related disciplineQualified to practice before the IRS (i.e., JD, CPA, or EA)Minimum of 5 years' tax experience in consulting/compliance within public accountingMinimum of 3 years' of experience in a managerial role involving clients and team membersPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Accounting or TaxationArmanino provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. The compensation range for this position: $128,000-$174,400.

Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
