Our client is an established, mid-sized public accounting and advisory firm looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to transition from a larger or national firm while continuing to work with sophisticated clients in a collaborative, mid-sized firm environment.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of progressive tax/public accounting experience
- CPA or EA preferred
- Hands-on experience reviewing complex tax returns — particularly individuals, trusts, partnerships, and closely held businesses
- Strong experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex client structures
- Family Office experience is highly preferred
- Exposure to international tax matters is a plus
- Experience with real estate entities and investment partnerships is beneficial
- Ability to confidently manage client relationships and participate in client meetings
- Previous experience mentoring or overseeing junior tax professionals
In this role, you’ll:
- Review complex federal and state tax returns
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients
- Manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners
- Research and advise on complex tax matters
- Mentor and develop junior tax professionals
- Collaborate with other teams to provide comprehensive client solutions
- Identify additional tax planning and advisory opportunities
