About the Opportunity:
A well-established, boutique public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing team. This firm offers a highly consultative environment, going beyond compliance to deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and/or review complex tax compliance engagements for individuals and businesses
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to closely held entities and their owners
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate across tax (and potentially assurance) engagements as needed
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of public accounting experience in tax
- Strong experience with:
- Individual tax
- Corporate (C-Corp, S-Corp) and partnership tax
- Ability to review work and oversee engagements
- Experience with trusts & estates or complex planning is a plus
- CPA or EA preferred (not required)
- Strong communication skills and client-service mindset
- Base Salary: Flexible based on experience
- Overtime Bonus Program: Paid for hours worked above 40/week (tiered based on annual billable hours)
- Client Development Incentive: Ongoing percentage of revenue from self-sourced clients
