Our client is a well established CPA firm in Chicago's northwest suburbs that has built its reputation on personal service and technical excellence. The firm serves clients nationally and internationally, ranging from public companies to closely held family businesses and growing startups. The Opportunity

The firm is adding one Tax Manager to its team. This is a chance to work on sophisticated, business focused tax work rather than volume individual returns. This is not a 1040 shop. You will spend your time on partnership, corporate, and S corporation returns, along with a select group of high net worth individuals.

What You'll Work On

• Partnership tax returns, a major focus of the practice
• C corporation and S corporation returns
• High net worth individual returns (a limited, select number)
• Tax planning for clients across a wide range of industries
• Reviewing work, managing engagements, and serving as a trusted point of contact for clients

The firm works with just about every type of client outside of nonprofits, banks, and insurance companies, so you'll see real variety in your work.

What We're Looking For

• CPA license required
• Several years of public accounting tax experience, with manager level or strong senior level review experience
• Solid background in partnership and corporate/S corporation taxation
• Experience working with high net worth clients is a plus
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
• Willingness to work fully onsite in Deer Park, IL

Schedule

This is a fully in office role. The firm prefers a full time hire, but will consider a part time arrangement for the right candidate. xhqgsiq

Compensation

• $140-200K base salary, depending on experience
