The Tax Manager will oversee the tax, reporting, liquidity, and financial planning needs of the firm’s partners.

Our client is a global credit investment manager with over $40 billion in AUM, investing across public and private strategies, including a direct lending platform that provides customized financing solutions to middle-market companies across industries. The Tax Manager will oversee the tax, reporting, liquidity, and financial planning needs of the firm’s partners.
Responsibilities
- Review individual and partnership tax returns prepared by third party CPA firms
- Review books and records for partner owned investment vehicles
- Prepare and review quarterly income tax projections and estimated payment calculations for the partners and their family members
- Review and respond to tax notices
- Review of partner quarterly reporting packages including net worth reporting, investment balances, and liquidity forecasts
- Monitor liquidity and daily cash balances, instruct cash movements between accounts, fund capital calls, monitor distributions, and make cash reinvestment determinations
- Implement and maintain loan facilities and monitor covenant compliance
- Oversee various ad-hoc requests related to tax and financial planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 6-8 years of tax experience with a mix of public accounting and ultra-high net worth individuals or at a family office
- Proficient Excel skills and comfortable with systems and technology
- CPA or CFP a plus
Salary Range
$120,000-$160,000
