and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C-corporations, S-corporations, and partnershipsReview complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, trust, and estate tax returnsReview and manage deliverables, including tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, and workpapers for all entity typesConduct complex tax research for clients across diverse industries and prepare technical memoranda summarizing findings and conclusionsManage multiple client relationships while clearly explaining complex tax conceptsOversee preparation and review of sophisticated tax plans and projections for individuals, partnerships, and corporationsResearch tax law implications and provide strategic tax advice to clientsMentor and train associates and peersDelegate tasks efficiently to staff and offer accounting and tax support as neededDraft engagement letters outlining services to be providedRespond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and noticesServe as clients' primary tax contact, delivering expertise and customized tax strategiesActively pursue business development opportunities and cultivate a professional networkQualifications:Minimum 6–8 years of public accounting experience with a focus on taxationActive CPA certificationAt least 3 years reviewing all types of tax returns3+ years of supervisory experienceAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsStrong project and client management capabilitiesProven ability to give and receive constructive criticismDeep technical proficiency in accounting and tax
