Position details
We are working with a top mid‑market firm located on the southside of metro Atlanta that has an immediate need for an experienced Tax Manager. The ideal candidate must have public accounting experience and must be a CPA.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns
- Maintain & build client relationships
- Handle IRS correspondence
- Perform Tax research
- Prepare estimates, extensions & payments
- Mentor/oversee junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business; Master’s degree is a plus - MTAX, MACC
- Must be a CPA
- Must have 7-10 years of experience
- Proficient with Ultratax & QuickBooks
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
