With a friendly culture and flexible schedule, this role is perfect for someone looking to cement their place in a growing firm.ResponsibilitiesReview corporate, individual, partnership and other tax returns prepared by associates and give commentsResponsible for specific tax, accounting and consulting engagementsSupervise and mentor staff on a number of projects concurrentlyDirectly correspond and communicate with the clientsProcess engagement responsibilities from beginning to end including communicating status of assignmentsTrain staff and provide feedback throughout engagementResearch and resolve technical tax mattersAssist with developing additional services for current clientsDeveloping contacts through networking and community involvement and maintaining contacts for referral useQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or universityCPA license required7+ years tax experienceExperience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong organization skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailSolid written and oral communication skillsSpartan Placements is an equal opportunity employer.
