Senior Tax ManagerDistrict Partners is engaged on this exclusive search for a talented Senior Tax Manager to join the leadership team of a respected and growing public accounting firm. This is a high-impact role for an experienced tax professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and has a strong background in complex tax matters, including partnerships, business transactions, and foreign tax compliance. The position offers significant leadership responsibilities and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions while mentoring a high-performing team.What You'll Be Owning:Manage and review complex tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trustsProvide proactive tax planning and advisory services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individualsLead transactional work, including business sales, acquisitions, reorganizations, and associated due diligence and structuringAct as a trusted advisor, maintaining and expanding long-term client relationshipsConduct in-depth research and provide guidance on complex federal, state, and local tax mattersMentor, supervise, and review the work of junior and mid-level tax professionalsCollaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with firm-wide initiativesSupport business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentationsRequired Experience:CPA, JD, or LLM requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation strongly preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accountingFamiliarity with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and proficiency with Microsoft Office toolsDeep expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory for both individuals and business entitiesDemonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced, client-service-focused environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and mentor staff
