As part of our rapid growth, we’re seeking an experienced Tax Director to lead and expand our tax practice. This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the firm’s tax strategy, client experience, and service innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, scale, and innovate the firm’s tax practice with full accountability for growth, client delivery, and team performance.
• Deliver exceptional advisory and compliance services to entrepreneurial businesses, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Drive expansion through deeper client relationships, new service lines, and proactive business development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insight on complex tax matters and structuring opportunities.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing tax team within a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
• Partner with product, engineering, and leadership teams to enhance automation and digital capabilities.
• Leverage technology, innovation, and shared resources to deliver a modern, scalable tax platform.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business taxation—preferably within a Big 4, large national, or leading regional firm.
• Proven success leading complex client engagements.
• Exceptional relationship management and client advisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Location

This is a remote position working California PST hours, with 10% travel to work with team in-person.

Compensation

United States $500,000.00-$750,000.00
