Employee-centric CPA firm with a fantastic team of partners has a newly created opening for a Tax Director. This role is open due to the growth of the firm and offers a Partner track.
Working closely with the Managing Partners, the Tax Director will oversee and review tax returns for individuals, business & trusts. The Director will have Tax Staff members reporting to them and supporting their client base.
Ideal candidates have an MST, CPA (a plus) and 7+ years of tax prep / review experience, ideally with individuals, trusts and corporations.
The team is looking for someone who is willing to work in-office in Woburn several days a week for the first ~3 months to learn the team's processes and build relationships. Once established, this role can work more remotely, and commute into the office less frequently.
Requirements:
- BS, Accounting
- MST (preferred)
- CPA (preferred)
- 7+ years of tax experience
- Strong tax review experience
- Experience with individual, corporate & trust tax returns
- Federal and state tax return experience
