As an ARB Tax Director, You Will:
- Provide strategic tax advisory services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, including complex planning and structuring strategies.
- Oversee the review and delivery of complex tax returns with an emphasis on S Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex tax issues and identify opportunities for growth and tax efficiency.
- Lead and mentor managers, seniors, and staff, supporting their professional development and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop specialized expertise in key industries—including auto dealerships, construction and real estate, manufacturing, and other commercial businesses—and provide consultative advisory services.
- Partner with firm leadership to drive strategic initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued growth of ARB’s tax practice.
- Participate in business development efforts, including identifying opportunities with existing clients, cultivating new relationships, and contributing to firm growth.
- Research and communicate solutions to complex tax matters, leveraging deep technical knowledge and sound professional judgment.
- Ensure engagement teams operate efficiently while maintaining exceptional client service and quality standards.
To Be an ARB Tax Director, You Have:
- A strong track record in public accounting with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. (Ideally 8–15+ years of experience)
- Extensive experience with tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners.
- Confidence working with CCH Axcess, Caseware, and CCH Fixed Assets (or similar tax software).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex tax matters to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities while fostering a collaborative team environment.
