Tax Director

A prestigious Midtown NYC firm is seeking a Tax Director to join its Real Estate practice. This leadership role allows you to collaborate with team and firm leadership to grow the business, drive client relationships, and have a direct impact on both your and the firm’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and be a key member of an engagement team providing federal, state, and local tax compliance and consulting services to real estate clients
2. Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert guidance on tax and business matters
3. Deliver timely, professional, and accurate tax planning and savings opportunities for clients
4. Proactively identify additional consultative solutions and services to add value for clients
5. Collaborate with other tax consulting teams on state and local, high-net-worth, international, research and development, cost segregation, and other advisory services
6. Participate in business development and thought leadership activities

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of experience in providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to real estate clients
2. CPA required
3. Strong expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws affecting real estate clients
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
5. Business development experience, with the ability to attract and retain clients

Compensation:

1. Competitive salary ranging from $220,000 to $250,000+, based on experience
