Senior Alternatives Fund Formation Tax/Legal Structurer

We’re partnering with a leading global asset manager seeking a senior professional to lead the structuring and launch of new alternative investment products across private real estate, infrastructure, private credit, and liquid real assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, structuring, approval, and launch of new alternative investment products.
- Evaluate the legal, tax, regulatory, compliance, and operational implications of new fund structures.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Investments, Product, Sales, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Fund Operations.
- Identify product opportunities, develop business cases, and oversee multiple launches from concept through execution.
- Manage and mentor a small team while remaining hands-on in product development and delivery.
- Coordinate with external legal, tax, and advisory partners as needed.
Ideal Background:
- Significant legal and/or tax structuring experience within alternatives or asset management.
- Demonstrated experience launching new funds or investment products across alternative asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of private real estate, infrastructure, private credit, and/or liquid real assets.
- Familiarity with structures such as REITs, interval or tender-offer funds, and alternative investment funds.
- Experience advising asset managers through a law firm, Big Four firm, consultancy, or investment platform is highly relevant.
- Strong leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement, and commercial problem-solving skills.
