Responsibilities
- Lead the tax department and manage client service delivery for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Oversee, review, and sign off on complex returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and business clients.
- Develop and implement best practices, workflow efficiencies, and quality-control processes.
- Mentor, train, and develop junior and mid-level staff to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, nurturing long-term relationships and providing high-level advisory support.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to set strategy, drive growth, and expand service offerings.
Qualifications
- CPA license required.
- 8+ years of tax experience with a proven track record in a public accounting environment, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and grow a department.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
