Overseeing multiple engagements simultaneously, the full-time SALT Tax Compliance Senior Manager will direct operational functions, manage client relationships, and drive business development initiatives while working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage multiple tax compliance engagements, ensuring high-quality results Respond to tax authority notices and represent clients by researching complex tax matters Identify and develop new business opportunities while providing leadership and employee development Required Qualifications: 10+ years of state income tax compliance experience with a focus on managing a compliance team Strong understanding of state tax concepts such as nexus, combined reporting, and pass-through taxation Experience in reviewing and delivering complex multistate tax returns Proficiency with state tax technology, particularly CCH Axcess Strong management, organizational, and budgeting skills
