We're a growing CPA firm that specializes in tax and client accounting services, and we're looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. What You'll Do
This role involves a mix of tax and accounting work, including:
- Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Assisting with tax planning and projections throughout the year
- Providing accounting services such as reconciliations, financial reporting, and support with monthly and quarterly closes
- Communicating directly with clients to answer questions and offer guidance
- Staying current on tax laws and helping the team stay informed
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus, or working toward it)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax and client accounting services
- Experience with tax prep and accounting software (QuickBooks, UltraTax, CCH)
- Someone who’s organized, responsive, and communicates well with both clients and team members
- A self-starter who’s comfortable managing deadlines and priorities
