Tax AssociateTax and Accounting - Santa Monica, CAEntry Level/Compensation $85K – $95K DOEGerber Kawasaki is one of the fastest-growing and most influential independent wealth and investment management firms in the country. We are seeking a Tax Associate to support our tax department by preparing tax returns and providing overall tax-related support. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with both clients and management. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a well-established, diverse, and expanding tax practice.This role is 80% in-office, 4 days per weekJob Description:Experience preparing and reviewing returns for C corporations, S corporations, LLCs and High Net Worth individualsAbility to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clientsProven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detailExperience working collaboratively across teams and departmentsMinimum Qualifications:0-3 years of relevant work experienceBA/BS in Accounting. MS Tax preferred.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with tax preparation & planning software.
