Tax AttorneyLocation: New York CityThe attorney will provide tax advice for the company and its operations. This includes research and review of documents relating to investments, derivatives, and capital planning. Furnish tax advice for potential restructurings, mergers and acquisitions.
This includes research and review of documents as well as review of due diligence files. Review and complete various tax forms and statements. The attorney will apply concepts, rules and current legal principles to important business issues and must be able to accurately research a wide range of tax materials.
The attorney will need to be able to comply with immovable deadlines and assume immediate responsibility of various business transactions.Qualifications:Juris Doctor; admitted to practice in at least one stateLegal skills: Demonstrates knowledge of basic legal principles and analytical methods and the ability to learn the basics of defined specialties. Can analyze basic legal issues and research sources of tax law, draft routine documents and negotiate routine matters with supervisionExhibits leadership ability and exceptional people skillsEducation: LLM in Taxation (or equivalent)
