Tax Accountant Location: Skokie, IL
We're a growing CPA firm that specializes in tax and client accounting services, and we're looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. We focus on tax compliance, planning, and ongoing accounting support. This role involves a mix of tax and accounting work, including: Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns Assisting with tax planning and projections throughout the year Providing accounting services such as reconciliations, financial reporting, and support with monthly and quarterly closes Staying current on tax laws and helping the team stay informed A degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus, or working toward it)
2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax and client accounting services
Experience with tax prep and accounting software (QuickBooks, UltraTax, CCH)
