Tax Accountant

This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys the technical side of accounting but also wants meaningful client interaction, professional growth, and variety throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of tax work while partnering closely with clients and the firm’s experienced team.
• Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns
• Support tax planning and client advisory services
• Gather and review client financial information
• Prepare reconciliations, workpapers, and financial statements
• Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements outside of peak tax season
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a strong tax focus

• Experience preparing a high volume of tax returns

• CPA preferred; EA or strong tax experience also considered

• Lacerte experience is a plus

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines
