Tandem-Client NonStop Lead / System AdministratorLocation: Pittsburgh, PAPosition Type: ContractRate: DOEUSC and GC preferredBrief Description: We are looking for a Tandem technical lead to take care of the system administration (e.g. OS upgrades and patches, database management systems, application integration & communications, storage, license renewal, etc.) as well as supporting the production operation and enhancements.Requirements:Exceptional knowledge of Tandem Client NonStop system administration (OS upgrades and patches, database management systems, application integration & communications, storage, license renewal, etc)Experience in system administration within a highly available enterprise environment or related experienceExperience with Tandem TAL/TALC, COBOL85, SCOBOL, and Non-Stop SQL Coding, debugging with inspect and writing TACL scriptWorking experience with C programming on TandemWorking experience with RDF, OSS, Pathway, Pathcom, SCFWorking experience in TCP/IP, SMTP, UDPWorking knowledge of UnixExperience with Safecom and securing the system and user applicationsExperience in all phases of SDLCStrong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills Perform other duties as requiredBachelor's Degree - Major in Computer Science preferred, other majors considered. Willing to accept additional experience in lieu of a degree.
