Tandem Developer

Overview

Our client seeks a Tandem Card Management Developer for a 12 Months project in Dallas, TX . Location: Remote.

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience with 12+ minimum experience.

What you will do

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement and innovation
• Produce quality documentation for the support teams
• Troubleshoot / diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions

What you will need to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing and implementing software applications and hands-on experience with large-scale applications at large institutions with technologies Tandem/HP Nonstop/COBOL/TAL.
• Experience with data replication using Shadowbase or GoldenGate.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with event-based architecture leading strategy, governance and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions
• Financial services industry experience
• Experience with analytics and performance monitoring
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

Experience in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software product development lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.
