The role requires technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and excellent teamwork skills to be successful.• Provides technical assistance in support of others.• Applies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction.Assist and perform assignments in specialized areas requiring technical skills.Supports projects within scope, schedule, and cost.Supports review of functional specifications for completeness and consider practical limitations.Collaborates with design activities as a member of a multi-disciplinary technical team.Supports with basic work planning, budgeting and cost estimating.Supports development and updating single line diagrams, and design drawings, and equipment specifications. Supports material procurement.Supports QA/QC process.Provides technical support to field and construction groups.Assist with and improvement processes and standards.Collaborates with reporting, including presentations to work groups and management.Position may be required to work extended hours including major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical field from a college accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).2 years of applicable experience or a combination of education and applicable experience.
