Overview

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran‑owned company that strives to build a diverse workforce of trained and talented individuals. We are seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as a Resilience Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security patrols of the assigned area in a designated company vehicle or on foot, monitoring for and deterring suspicious or unauthorized activity.
  • Assist with access control operations, including verifying the proper ID and credentials of individuals attempting to access the client’s facilities.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to a given facility or site to maintain security and protect employees and property.
  • Provide assistance to client employees and create a safe, friendly environment for visitors in a professional manner.
  • Work independently and adapt to varying work‑paces while maintaining high attentiveness and energy.
  • Respond to and assist immediately and safely with any emergencies on site.
  • Prepare reports and statements related to accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities during the shift.
  • Assist with receiving and scanning mail and packages on the client’s behalf, when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Minimum age of 18 years per state licensing guidelines.
  • Pass an extensive background check and drug screening. (Applicants with criminal histories may be considered in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.)
  • Lived within driving distance of the job location or willing to relocate.
  • Current BSIS guard card or in the process of obtaining one.
  • Current CPR/AED & First‑Aid certification from a recognized authority.
  • Valid California driver’s license (ClassC).
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with people at all levels.
  • Good judgment and ability to make timely, sound decisions.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisory and managerial personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely and effectively deploy and use any assigned equipment for the role.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and conduct foot patrols for the duration of the shift.
  • Pass the Resilience Officer Physical Agility Test (ROPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Experience

  • Prior work as a security officer or in a security‑related position.
  • Military background.
  • Law‑enforcement or security experience.
  • Experience writing statements and reports.

Base hourly rate: $30.00.

Temporary work dates: 5/5/2026 – 5/7/2026 only.
