Talent Acquisition Specialist Ease Mortgage | Troy, MI
You'll be on the phone, in the DMs, and in the room. Half your week is hunting: finding experienced loan officers across the country and getting them on the calendar with our leadership team. The other half is everything that happens after someone says yes: running the interview process, coordinating their setup, and making sure nobody we hire ever wonders what happens next.
What you'll actually do
* Set appointments between remote loan officer candidates and our team. You'll work from real production data, not cold lists, and your job is to start conversations that turn into meetings.
* Run outreach across every channel that works: phone calls, texts, emails, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, referrals, and industry events. Cold and warm both.
* Recruit for our internal Troy team as well: loan officers, loan officer assistants, and support roles for our direct-to-consumer division.
* Own the candidate experience from first contact through their first week. Schedule interviews, send confirmations, chase down paperwork, coordinate onboarding steps, and keep every candidate moving.
* Keep clean records in our recruiting CRM so nothing and nobody falls through the cracks.
* Build a referral network inside the mortgage community. The best candidates come from relationships, and you'll be building yours every day.
Who does well here
* You have a strong phone presence and you're comfortable calling people who aren't expecting your call.
* You're organized enough to juggle 20 candidates at different stages without dropping one.
* You write well. Your texts and emails sound like a person, not a template.
* Experience in mortgage, recruiting, or high-volume sales outreach helps. Knowing what an NMLS number is helps more. But we'll take drive and coachability over a perfect resume.
* You're comfortable with LinkedIn sourcing, CRM tools, and learning new tech fast.
