Abacoa Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading staffing agency in New York City on their search for a Talent Acquisition Partner! As they continue their exceptional growth across the US, they are adding to their existing talent acquisition team.
You will partner directly with senior leadership to drive the hiring strategy and support their growth plans across the US. You will play a key role on the team in market mapping, hiring strategy and talent attraction.
The ideal candidate will have experience using the same skills as a strong agency recruiter. You will be headhunting, influencing, handling difficult objections and negotiating. You will need the ability to approach passive candidates and convert them to successful, internal hires. Bring your energy, money-motivation, and desire to succeed!

What you'll be doing:
- Headhunting experienced recruiters
- Build pipelines for future growth
- Proactively engage passive talent
- Conduct interviews, assessing candidate motivation
- Manage referrals
- Post-placement aftercare
What the client is looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a recruitment agency environment; you must understand the pace, standards, motivations and realities of agency recruitment
- Proven, successful performance in past agency experience
- You must be confident speaking to experienced agency recruiters
- Ideally, already working in talent acquisition for a recruitment agency, although they will consider high-performing agency recruiters who are looking to move into a talent acquisition role
Compensation: $75K-90K plus uncapped commissions
Location: On-site in New York City, 4 days per week, 1 day remote
