The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will lead recruitment efforts for Herman Law's multi-state firm, partnering with leadership and hiring managers to build a strong candidate pipeline for both legal and non-legal positions. This role requires expertise in direct sourcing and full-cycle recruiting, along with the creativity to enhance recruitment tools and strategies. This role requires a positive and professional candidate experience, and acts as a knowledgeable partner to hiring managers on departmental needs and hiring goals. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is full-time in office in Boca Raton, FL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, recruit, screen, and interview candidates for multi-state corporate and legal roles
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from requisition intake, offer, assist with onboarding for a range of positions across multiple states and stakeholders
- Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, role requirements, and hiring goals
- Promote job openings and the firm's employer brand across job boards
- Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top legal talent across multiple states
- Maintain proactive, professional communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Manage open requisitions and candidate data through the firm's ATS, ensuring information is accurate and current
- Track and analyze recruitment analytics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing and hiring strategies
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and employment law in the handling of candidate information
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to recruiting best practices firmwide
- Stay current on recruitment trends, tools, and technologies (including AI-assisted sourcing) to continually refine strategy
- Conduct passive, and direct sourcing to engage top talent in a competitive market
- Support the broader HR team with recruiting-related projects and initiatives as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- 5+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for legal roles strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage approximately multiple to high volume roles simultaneously, including building a benchmark candidate pool
- Proficient in behavioral interview techniques, sourcing methods, and applicable employment law and equal opportunity hiring practices
- Experience using AI-assisted recruiting tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and applicant tracking systems (Paylocity ATS Preferred)
- Strong passive sourcing skills, with the ability to identify and engage candidates in a competitive industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder and candidate relationship management
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Willingness to learn compensation research and strategy
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary: $85,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience (37.5 hours per week, full-time)
