The technician will provide post-sale installation and maintenance support for communication products, including:Hardware installationsSite equipment auditsCustomer service response in a break-fix environmentPrimary Focus: Mobile and station work associated with Conventional, SmartNet Trunking, and Paging Systems for single-site customers.Key Responsibilities:Programming of mobile and portable radios, and infrastructure (training provided)Organize and pack radio kits for shipmentData entry into MS Excel and MS Word forms, including barcode scanningEquipment handling: Unloading/loading palletsPick and pack radio system parts/kits per customer specificationsInventory management: Assist with stock take and maintain subscriber inventory accuracyReceiving & dispatching subscriber goodsPC Desktop Support/System Admin Level 1Required Knowledge & Skills:Familiarity with basic communication conceptsBasic understanding of RF, telecommunications, and computer networkingGeneral/intermediate knowledge of computer hardware and applications for troubleshootingAbility to use basic electronic level meters (DVM, Scope, Wattmeter)LMR experience is a plusEducation & Experience:Associates Degree, Technical Certificate, or Military Training2 years technical work experience
