2nd Shift Systems OperatorAmerican Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the 2nd Shift Systems Operator role in our Schofield, WI facility.The Systems Operator will operate, set up, and adjust all machines and equipment in a computer-controlled manufacturing system.Essential Responsibilities:Systems Operations Perform a variety of associated functions to maintain continuous operation of the system and to ensure conformance to production and quality standards.Monitor instruments to ensure proper production conditionsRegulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory personnelDraw samples of products and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and to ensure that standards are metRecord operating data, such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readingsConfer with technical and supervisory personnel to report resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product qualityQuality Maintain and verify that all current quality assurance measures are being followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, office personnel, and customersAssist in the implementation of new procedures as neededSafety Operate equipment as per the SOP, following directions as providedKeep work area clean and organizedUtilize all of the required PPE as required by the task being performed.
