This role acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in storage and backup technologies, supporting data center migration efforts, infrastructure design, and operational support in a high-availability environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStorage & Backup Engineering• Support and manage Dell, Pure, Cohesity, DataDomain, and Avamar platforms• Ensure high availability and performance of storage systemsInfrastructure & Migration• Lead and support data center migration initiatives• Design and implement storage and backup solutionsOperations & Support• Provide L2/L3 production support• Troubleshoot storage and backup failuresAutomation & Scripting• Develop automation using PowerShell• Improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effortMonitoring & Reporting• Monitor system performance and alerts• Generate reports using PowerBI (if applicable)Collaboration• Work with infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders• Participate in Agile / Scrum environmentsDocumentation & Compliance• Maintain operational procedures and documentation• Ensure compliance with enterprise standardsMust-Have Qualifications• 5+ years of Systems / Storage Engineering experience• Strong experience with Dell storage (Required)• Strong experience with Pure Storage (Required)• Strong experience with Cohesity (Required)• Experience with DataDomain and Avamar• Strong production support experience• Experience with PowerShell scriptingPreferred Qualifications• Experience with NVMe/TCP (Block over IP)• Experience with PowerBI• Experience with ServiceNow• Agile / Scrum / Jira experience• Python scripting knowledgeCore Competencies• Storage & backup systems• Infrastructure design• Migration & operations• Troubleshooting• Automation & scriptingWork Environment• Enterprise storage infrastructure• High-availability systems• Hybrid work modelAdditional Requirements• Must be eligible to work in the US• Must be flexible for on-call rotation• Strong communication and leadership skills
