Systems Integration Engineer, Lead
The Opportunity
Join Booz Allen’s strategic team to work on a top-priority space program. You will collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues, other contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. Your role is integral to ensuring that space, ground, user segments and external stakeholders are integrated successfully to meet user needs.
Responsibilities
- 10+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite or ground systems
- 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, and PCA
- 2+ years of experience performing risk management on space, ground, software, or hard‑software major defense acquisition programs
- Experience with ground monitoring stations such as GPS
- Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or digital engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Highly motivated, dynamic work ethic, and contribution to the DoD mission
- Effective communication, cross‑functional teamwork, and initiative to complete complex tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice to Have
- Experience with GPS, PNT, or NAV WAR
- Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
- Experience working with software factories or DevSecOps pipelines
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
- Agile Certification such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP Certification
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification(s) such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary range is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by location, education, skills, and contract specifics.

Work Model
- Remote: If this position is listed as remote, occasional on‑site work may be required.
- Hybrid: This role may require frequent work from a Booz Allen facility and visits to customer facilities.
- Onsite: The position will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
