Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $30.00/hr.

Job Description
This role focuses on setting up and performing preventative maintenance on automatic drilling units within a modern aircraft manufacturing facility. You will use mechanical hand tools to carry out general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on equipment and related systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Set up automatic drilling units in accordance with established procedures and production requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance on automatic drilling units to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Use mechanical hand tools to carry out general maintenance and repair on equipment and components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on drilling units, engines, transmissions, and related systems to identify root causes.
- Inspect hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with the drilling units and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Service and repair diesel-driven or mechanically powered equipment as needed to support production.
- Follow maintenance schedules and document all work performed to ensure accurate records and compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, machine operators, and production staff to resolve equipment problems quickly.
- Adhere to safety procedures and best practices while working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and transmission systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
- At least 2+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment.
- Hands-on experience working with engines or transmissions, with the ability to apply that knowledge to drilling units and related machinery.
- Experience as a mechanical maintenance technician or set up machine operator, or similar mechanical role.
- Proficiency using mechanical hand tools for maintenance, repair, and equipment setup.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on production machinery and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and transmission systems.
- Capability to perform general maintenance and repair work on industrial equipment.
- Experience in an aircraft manufacturing or aerospace production environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with diesel equipment and related mechanical systems.
- Comfort working on 2nd or 3rd shift schedules.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams.
