Systems Engineer (Lead/Architect)The systems engineer must possess experience/knowledge with some of the following: Microsoft Windows server, AD, Linux, VMWare/ESX including VMWare high availability solutions and snapshot backup technologies, Citrix, NetApp storage, load/balancing solutions, Cisco UCS, Nutanix, Thin Manager, Vortex or similar components.He/she must have demonstrated hands on experience with troubleshooting Windows and Linux server platforms and understand:Oracle and SQL database functionality/connectivity, layer 2 and 3 technologies and do simple troubleshooting techniquesDNS, DHCP, CIFS/NFS, SAN/NAS, DBMS, VLANs, and server side configurationsExperience with some of the following: Cisco routing and switching, Load Balancers, TACACS+/Radius, Nexus, Checkpoint firewallExperience working in a GxP environmentKnowledge about scripts, and or services for the platform environment, such as PowerShell Perl or similarBasic understanding of backup solutions such as Netbackup, Rubrik, Networker, BackupExecSelf-Starter, eager to learn new technologies in a fast pace environment and work in multiple networking technology domainsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communicator who effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve issuesStrong written and verbal English communication skill
