DescriptionSAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Systems Engineer for Program Management Office to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States Government (USG). SETA contractors provide analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government’s own engineering staff members. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground.Provide technical supervision for the development of radiation hardened microelectronics and high-performance computing technologiesProvide technical support by monitoring and recommending relevant technical projectsResearch and present information on the latest technology trends in microelectronics, fabrication packaging, as well high-performance computing architectures and provide recommendations to inform group strategiesEngage groups across the government space to understand technical needs and derive requirements for future technology roadmaps and programsSupport diverse new electronic device technology developments in many areas, including heterogeneous integration, photonics, etc.Perform systems engineering analyses and develop supporting documentation for microelectronics and high-performance computing programsWilling to learn the associated tools for tasking, planning, researching and data routing of the microelectronics programProvide support to the drafting of statements of work and other acquisition documentationSupport source selection processesProvide analysis of developers’ deliverables to include periodic reports, test reports, and other technical reportProvide support to the administration of projects, to include management, technical, and financial aspectsDocument results for distribution across all levels of decision-making authority Travel may be required <15 % of timeQualificationsActive TS/SCI with polyBachelors degree with a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics major and at least 14 years of related experience or 12 with a Masters.Basic knowledge of integrated circuitsAbility to communicate technical issues clearly and effectivelyAbility to execute assignments with little supervisionAbility to actively participate in a collaborative team environmentAbility to cultivate internal and external stakeholder relationships Ability to generate and evaluate technical documents and reportsAbility to work occasional surge support.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsJob Field: Engineering and SciencesTravel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
