The Systems Engineer Specialist administers, secures, maintains, and supports ARRTs infrastructure, cloud services, endpoint platforms, and enterprise applications while collaborating across departments to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services.nn Duties and Responsibilities:n Network Administration Maintenance and Troubleshootingn Maintain and enhance network as needed, including the DMZ, Windows servers, routers, firewalls, etc. with both hardware and software configurations and updates.n Maintain network security including firewalls and domain access.n Monitor firewall logs and reports.n Conduct Hyper-V maintenance and failover testing to ensure business continuity.n Monitor and analyze system, network, cloud, and application performance.n Develop and maintain monitoring alerts, dashboards, and reporting metrics.n Security Maintenancen Create and maintain testing environments.n Develop and maintain a secure network in alignment with industry recommended best practices including PCI and ISO 27000.n Maintain antivirus and malware programs, data loss prevention, intrusion prevention, and wireless network security.n Manage operating system, application, and firmware patching processes.n Identify, evaluate, and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.n Cloud Infrastructure, Identity, and Servicesn Manage and secure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, and Entra ID.n Support Azure cloud services, workload migrations, and hybrid infrastructure, including Azure AD Connect and related dependencies.n Administer identity and access controls, including lifecycle management, Conditional Access, MFA, device registration, SSO, and access reviews.n Configure and maintain Intune / Endpoint Manager for device provisioning, compliance, application deployment, endpoint security, and lifecycle reporting.n Monitor Microsoft Secure Score, remediate findings, document risk decisions, and manage application access through role-based assignments.n Miscellaneous Information Technology Supportn Provide vendor support and serve as technical contact and resource.n Provide backup and support with Information Technology operational dutiesn Administer enterprise backup and recovery solutions, including validation, testing, retention management, and restoration activities.n Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.n Develop, maintain, and enforce system standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.n Document architecture, configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures.n Participate in professional development activities to remain current with best practices.n Support organizational priorities through active participation in ARRT Projects as assigned.n Proactively manage and deliver assigned ARRT project work.n Other duties as assigned and modified as business needs dictate.n Skills and Abilities:n Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups.n Ability to learn and apply ARRT business processes to analyze workflows, identify improvements, and develop solutions.n Commitment to continuous learning and applying current industry technologies.n Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.n Ability to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.n Adaptability, flexibility, urgency, and professionalism in responding to changing needs.n Technical working skills and knowledge of:n o Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity Management.n o Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.n o Windows Server and Windows client operating systems.n o Microsoft Hyper-V and virtualization technologies.n o PowerShell scripting and process automation.n o Next-generation firewalls, network switching, routing, VPNs, and load balancing.n o Endpoint management and mobile device management technologies.n o Enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.n o Security monitoring, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices.n o ITIL service management principles and service desk software.n o Process mapping, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
