A group of "Skunks" - some of the most innovative, strategic and visionary thinkers around.This Systems Engineering position is focused on system development, including systems engineering, design, supplier management and integration and test.As a Systems Engineer your primary tasks will include the following:Requirements decompositionTrade studiesRisk abatementSystem architecture designHardware integration planning and supplier coordination.As the program matures and hardware becomes available, responsibilities will include hardware and software integration and test.Success in this role requires a combination of team work, independence, and flexibility.

The ADP program environment includes complex, integrated system requirements, aggressive milestones, and dynamic task prioritization. The ability to complete assigned work within budget and schedule is required. You will be expected to consider innovative approaches to maximize program performance.You will be required to prepare and help with briefings as required to customers, technical leads, and/or Lockheed Martin management.

Therefore you must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Minimal travel may be required to Customer facilities and Lockheed Martin sites.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an interim Secret clearance required to start.*A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.Basic Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in STEM OR equivalent work experienceExperience with any of these systems: Communication, Radar, RF, Electronic Warfare, Electro-Optical, Mission Computer ProcessorsExperience with Aircraft development (modification also preferred)Systems requirements development or System Test & IntegrationDesired Skills:Experience with 1553, Ethernet, Avionics Hardware Development, Avionics systems troubleshooting, and Test case developmentSupplier ManagementSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretThis position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $115,500 - $217,500.
