Build servers using a script against VMWare for multiple servers at once. Use SolarWinds to manage and reserve IP's and performed operation such as addition and deletion of IP addresses from the DNS server. Use RedHat Satellite to manage subscription, repositories, errata and patches for the RedHat Linux servers. Install and configure OpenShift master and node, resolve network issues related to OpenShift and CentOS.
Use ServiceNow to manage Incidents and Requests based on priority. Write YAML files, using classes, modules and managing functionality on Puppet Enterprise to deploy servers and perform configuration management. Troubleshoot various Linux related issues such as SSH, Storage, Network, and DNS. Manage Active Directory users and groups to enable permissions to servers and file systems.Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement fixes. Design and implement system security and data assurance. Implement, tune and maintain VMware based solutions. Implement VMware vSphere for server consolidation and virtualization. Review existing technology, configuration and implement improvements and upgrades. Perform root cause analysis of service problems and develop solutions. Provision storage from EMC VPLEX, VNX, VMAX, DMX, and CX by creating views, initiator groups, port groups and storage groups using Unisphere. Manage DSS Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Fabric Attached Storage (FAS) infrastructure. Provision storage to host operating systems including Windows, UNIX, AIX and VMware Hosts. Identify and resolve storage and/or backup problems in coordination with service desk. Perform Pipeline Optimization for Jenkins jobs.
