Title: Systems Engineer - On-Market Support
Location: Tucson, AZ, USA, 85755
Duration: 3 Months - Contract may be renewed into 2027 based on candidate performance and business need
Description:
* Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
* General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
* Makes independent decisions.
* Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Test Method Development, DoE, data analysis (python coding capability)
* Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data
* Test bed development
* Troubleshooting skills
* Developing comprehensive testing plans.
* Executing hands-on testing protocols
* Authoring detailed technical reports.
* Managing the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner).
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
* Risk and requirements management experience
* Solid technical writing skills (e.g., protocols, reports, etc.)
* Demonstrated experience with complex electro-mechanical systems
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
* Years of Experience: 4 yrs+
* Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal
