This position is for a Systems Engineer to support training systems development. The position is located in East Orlando, FL at the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS), Lake Underhill facility.Keeping up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools will be encouraged. The Work As a Systems Engineer, you will:Work with the Program Systems Engineering Lead and/or sub-discipline architects in establishing a highly customized functional and physical system design and architecturePerform system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs.Evolve the MBSE strategy to align with the current scope and the future business capture opportunities and will engage across the program's Engineering & Technology organization to transition the product lineSupport the Configuration Design Management (CDM) team in the design release streams across the product line.Work with a team of system engineers and/or interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and design the system functional, logical, and behavioral architecture using MBSE tools and DOORS or DOORS NEXT; ensuring flow-down to lower level specifications, and compliance throughout the designBe a member of Integrated Product Team responsible for the scope and associated cost and schedule. Interface with cross functional teams and customer on regular basis to effectively execute the scope.Please Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
