This position requires a motivated individual who seeks to work in a team environment where creative solutions are encouraged, and technical challenges are the norm.Location: Marlton, NJSalary: Commensurate with industry position, depending on experienceTypical Shift: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pmTravel: 70%Position ResponsibilitiesDeploy and configure Microsoft Windows Server operating systems on enterprise server hardware and virtual environmentsInstall, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems using command line administration toolsConfigure and troubleshoot network connectivity including TCP/IP settings, DNS, routing, and interface configurationsDeploy and manage virtual machines using Microsoft Hyper-V and related virtualization technologiesExecute, modify, and troubleshoot PowerShell and Bash (.sh) scripts to automate system configuration and administrative tasksPerform system validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality of operating systems and servicesCreate, update, and maintain technical documentation including deployment guides, configuration procedures, and system diagramsPerform system patching, updates, and configuration changes to maintain secure and stable operating environmentsEvaluate system security posture and compliance using vulnerability scanning tools and remediation proceduresCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to deploy and support infrastructure solutions across multiple environmentsMinimum Security ClearancePosition requires a DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one once hiredRequired Qualifications and SkillsExperience administering and troubleshooting Windows Server environmentsExperience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) via command line / terminalExperience managing virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-VAbility to create, execute, and troubleshoot Bash (.sh) scripts in Linux environmentsAbility to create, modify, and execute PowerShell scripts to automate system administration tasks and troubleshoot issuesExperience configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP networking, DNS, and network interfacesExperience deploying, configuring, and maintaining virtual machines and virtual networksAbility to analyze logs and diagnose system performance or configuration issuesExperience performing system patching, updates, and security hardeningExperience supporting server deployments, system upgrades, and configuration changesFamiliarity with emerging AI technologies and their application in system administration, automation, and IT operationsExcellent verbal / written communication and organizational skillsTeam-oriented personalityAbility to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certificationAbility to interface directly with end users to resolve technical issuesAdditional Desired Qualifications, Skills, CertificationsExperience working with documentation and technical proceduresExperience with containerized technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)Familiarity with DISA STIG, security hardening, or compliance frameworksComfortable working in a fast-paced, emerging growth environmentExperienced and technically proficient with Helm and microservicesStrong oral, written communication skillsEducation and Training RequiredBachelor's degree (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field)Associate's degree plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeMinimum Years of Experience4+Language and Interpersonal SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, understanding of military systems and operations, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to identify, define and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsProficient in Microsoft Office SuitePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
